We're building the operating system for professional kitchens. One platform for food safety, allergen management, labelling, and waste reduction.
Kitchen OS was founded by Neil Bradley, a professional chef who spent years managing multi-site restaurant operations. Neil experienced firsthand the frustration of juggling multiple disconnected systems for temperature monitoring, allergen information, date labelling, and waste tracking.
Every system required separate logins, different training, and none of them talked to each other. More importantly, they were all designed by software companies - not by people who'd actually worked in professional kitchens.
In 2024, Neil decided to build something better. Kitchen OS started as a simple HACCP monitoring tool (Food Safe System) but quickly evolved into a complete kitchen management platform. Today, hundreds of kitchens use Kitchen OS to manage food safety, allergen compliance, labelling, and waste reduction - all from one integrated system.
We're still a small, focused team. Every feature we build solves a real problem that we or our customers have actually experienced. No bloat, no unnecessary complexity - just tools that make your kitchen run better.
To make professional kitchen operations safer, more efficient, and more sustainable through simple, integrated technology.
These principles guide everything we do - from product development to customer support.

Kitchen OS is a food safety and kitchen operations platform for professional kitchens. It provides automated HACCP compliance via IoT temperature monitoring (Food Safe System), digital allergen menus via QR code (AllerQ), automated food label printing (Food Label System), and IoT food waste tracking (F*** Waste). It is built in the UK and designed for commercial kitchen environments including restaurants, hotels, schools, and multi-site operators.
Yes. Kitchen OS AllerQ supports multiple service formats within the same venue. Banqueting menus can be set up with their own QR codes — shared in advance with event coordinators or displayed at event registration. Buffet allergen information can be displayed per dish at each station. The Food Label System prints compliant labels for grab-and-go and PPDS items including buffet-packaged items. All formats pull from the same central recipe and allergen database.
Yes. Kitchen OS Food Safe System automates HACCP temperature monitoring using IoT sensors. Sensors monitor refrigeration and cooking equipment 24/7, recording temperatures every 15 minutes without any staff action. Records are stored in the cloud and can be exported as compliance reports instantly. Alerts are sent when temperatures exceed critical limits. Corrective actions are logged with timestamps. The result is a continuous audit-ready HACCP record — including overnight and weekend periods that manual logs cannot cover.
Yes. Kitchen OS is designed for kitchen staff, not IT teams. IoT sensors monitor automatically — line cooks do not need to interact with them. The Food Label System tablet has a simple product-selection interface: tap the product, press print. For allergen queries, line cooks direct customers to the QR code rather than answering from memory. The only tasks that require staff interaction are cooking temperature spot-checks and corrective action logging — both take under 30 seconds on the mobile dashboard.
